An attempt at an ambient mix for relaxation purposes. Thought I might as well share it. All Aphex Twin tracks as that is the only ambient I listen to. Thanks and hope you enjoy the change of pace. Make sure to check out episode 33 for my newest "normal" house episode since these are going up on the same day. Thanks for listening! JMP 33

Welcome to the first podcast of the year. This one clocks in at a little over half an hour. Program settings on Virtual DJ were off so there is some clicking when I tweek the knobs but overall I'm happy with the result. Enjoy and thanks so much for listening! JMP 32

Been a while. Aside from my hungry cat jumping up on my console and trying to assist me. Aside from that hiccup, this is a more low key mix. Hope you like it. Thanks for listening. Episode 31

Breaking up the House - Skull Kandy
The playlist was put together a while ago. Feeling a little inspired after dancing my ass off at the pride parade this past weekend. Might be searching for another program to make my mixes on. Feeling a bit limited with Virtual DJ as of late. Maybe a new MIDI controller, too! I do have a birthday coming up...LOL! Sorry for the delay as I have been slacking big time. Keep subscribed cuz I will keep putting mixes out!! Thank you for listening. |
Podcast SummaryHouse, electronic, whatever, music mixes put together using Virtual DJ and Hercules MP3e2 MIDI controller. www.facebook.com/joe.mejia2 About Joe MejiaGrew up listening to the house mixes on the radio from all the classic DJs in Chicago. Some DJs I remember are Ralphie "the Razz" Rosario, Mickey Mixin Oliver, Bab Boy Bill, Juian Jumpin Perez, Tim Spinnin Schomer, the whole Hit Mix 6 on WGCI Chicago. Even though I eventually tired of it and became a huge metal fan, I've come back around to my musical "roots" as you may call it. Got a hold of Virtual DJ after seeing it being used on YouTube and picked up an M Audio XSession Pro MIDI controller and here are the results. Even though I still rock out to Scandanavian Black and Melodic metal, you can't do the things you do with dance music. I enjoy this hobby and hope anyone who listens can appreciate. Keep listening!!
